Do I have to know how to wakeboard to join the team?

No! We accept riders of all levels. Many of our team members actually learned how to ride and discovered their passion for wakeboarding after joining. 

 

How do I get onto the competitive team?

At the beginning of each semester, we hold tryouts for any riders that are interested in joining our competitive team. To make our men’s competitive team, you must be able to successfully land an invert or a spin in order to earn a spot on the team. To make our women’s competitive team, you must be able to successfully clear the wake in order to earn a spot on the team. 

 

How much does it cost to join?

Dues are $300 for our club team and $475 for our competitive team. 

 

Do I have to have my own gear?

Of course not! We have very generous team members that will happily share their gear with you as well as sponsors that provide huge discounts on water sports equipment.

 

Where does the team practice?

We practice at Bartlett Lake.
